I love Hilo Tour: (Honu-Turtle) 6 hr long

Hilo is a unique destination because its architecture, history and culture remain intact.
Hilo is a beautiful bayside city, many consider it to be the best-preserved ocean-side township in Hawai’i.

Let’s begin with the magnificent Banyon Circle Drive. We see beautiful Lili’uokalani “Japanese” Gardens with gifts of authentic walkways, lanterns from the Meiji Empress and a true Tokyo Tea House. We pass by the sacred Moku Ola Island, which was once one of the eight places of refuge from the Kapu (conduct of laws) system on the Big Island.

Quick stop at the canoe clubs on the Hilo Bay Front black sand beach where 1,200 warrior canoes were used by the brave chief and legend who unified all the islands.
We view his inspiring grand bronze statue as the first Hawaiian King: Kamehameha the Great. Around the corner is the special Tsunami Memorial as well as the Vietnam Memorial's Eternal Flame, where we stop for a moment of silence.

Exploring old downtown Hilo which is a conglomeration of vintage wood frame
and stucco finished buildings. There exists an interesting collection of
Mom n’ Pop shops, a charming Farmer's Market, and lovable cafes where
you have the chance to stroll and relax. We appreciate that Hilo is slow to
change because it has kept its hometown appeal and bayside personality. We journey through the business district, through the century-old school district up to the quaint Rainbow Falls and the State Park of Boiling Pots rapids. Finally a special treat is a visit to the Nani Mau Botanical Gardens.

We have delicious choices of local snacks: homemade mochi, chocolate and ice cream,
Micro-Brewery, Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut farm or Big Island Candy.

Come join us for a memorable tour, customized to your interests and wishes. Our fascinating and entertaining tour-guide will warmly welcome you to this truly unique historic Hilo Town on the Island of Hawai'i.
